First Alternative Co-op’s kitchen, which produces food under its own Feast Alternative label, has come a long way since its inception in the year 2000. Our kitchen’s devoted cooks work around the clock to provide our each of our stores with a soup bar, grab & go case, a full line of baked goods and an endless selection of fresh deli meals. Our larger South Store also includes a full salad bar, a hot to-go case and our very popular hot food bar.
Our talented chefs use organic and local ingredients as much as possible, and they are constantly experimenting with new recipes. You can always find new entrees, salads, wraps and desserts alongside your old favorites, like our famous Beer Battered Cod and Classic Mac & Cheese. Soups and hot bar dishes change daily, but we always have both meat and vegetarian options available.
